Impact
Matuba is a high impact farm from both an environmental and a social perspective, contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals: 2, 8, 9, 5. It works well with Matuba village next door, employing many of its inhabitants.
Human Resources
Matuba is one of the region’s largest employers. It trains its staff, most of whom it draws from Matuba village next door, whose Chief has worked closely with the farm over many years.
Secured Assets
Matuba is secured by a 14 km barbed fence and perimeter access road, supervised by security guards at the 2 entrance gates. It is located in a friendly community and crime is low.
